San Jose State University Student Chapter

San Jose State University is part of the Monterey Bay Chapter of AEP through the student run Urban Planning Coalition (UPC). UPC is run by students for students.UPC is a Planning Student Organization (PSO) affiliated with the American Planning Association, and the recipient of the 2015 Outstanding PSO Award for the Fall 2014 symposium, "Boomers and Millennials: Planning for Changing Demographics in the Bay Area."

The AEP representative on the board aims to enrich the academic experience for all students interested in urban and regional planning by facilitating the exchange of ideas and thoughtful discussions, building professional networks, and advising students of the opportunities in the field of urban planning, specifically in the environmental field. California State University - Monterey Bay Student Chapter

The Monterey Bay Chapter of AEP is committed to supporting students who are preparing to pursue careers in the environmental field. We are actively seeking interested students to recommence the AEP Student Chapter at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) or other Monterey Bay area college campuses. Involvement in AEP offers professional development along with networking and educational opportunities.
